Jujutsu Kaisen Massive Update: Season 3 Release Date, New Trailer and a Movie
Almost two years after the release of Jujutsu Kaisen second season finale, we got official confirmation of the season 3 release window. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is set to release weekly starting January 2026. On August 31st, at Jujutsu Kaisen’s 5th Anniversary Special Program, Toho Animation announced the release date of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, alongside a brand-new trailer for the upcoming season and details about the new Jujutsu Kaisen movie, titled “Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution.”

The brand-new Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Teaser Trailer includes scenes from the long-awaited battle between Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, and in one particularly tense scene, Yuji worries about his friends’ safety as Sukuna grows stronger, afraid the King of Curses is secretly planning something evil.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, which will be the adaptation of the “Culling Game” arc, is set to start airing in January of 2026; episodes will release weekly like the previous seasons. The series will be exclusively streamed on Crunchyroll all over the world, except in Japan.
Additionally, GKIDS announced a new Jujutsu Kaisen movie named Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game, which will include a compilation of last season’s Shibuya Incident Arc and the first two episodes of the upcoming third season. The film will be theatrically released on 7th November in Japan and on 5th December in North America. The film will be available in both the original Japanese and English dub.
